Center in Ely
Have a "Howling" good time at the
International Wolf Center in Ely. See an
actual pack of wolves at this state of the
art learning center.
Feed the Deer! The kids will love feeding the deer at
the Cold Springs Deer Farm. Afterward you
can enjoy one of their hand dipped ice cream
treats or fresh pastry.
Bird Watching Bird watching has
become a very popular vacation pastime, and
here at Aspen Resort the opportunities are
endless. Right from your cabin you can watch
as birds of prey, such as bald eagles,
osprey and hawks catch their evening meal.
Pelicans, blue and gray jays, grosbeaks,
hummingbirds and many varieties of
woodpeckers are also in abundance. Loons
with their young can bee seen splashing and
playing during the day and their eerie cries
can be heard every evening.
